| Pictured here is the factory 3.42 gear that comes in the 6 speed manual F-body cars from 1994-2002. I believe that the 1993 Z28's came with 3.23's on a 6 speed. That's why the 1993 cars did not come with C.A.G.S. See the hole in the carrier to the right of the gear? This is where the paddle goes in. It's a spacer for the two axles on either side of it. Each axle is held in by a C-clip. This is not an easy job. Don't attempt to do this yourself. HIRE A PROFESSIONAL! You need special tools to get the correct backlash and everything when you put one of these in. |
